Rebuilt by the Word - Nehemiah 8:1-18

This morning we continue our study verse by verse through the book of Nehemiah. We have reached a transition in the text. Up to this point the focus has been on rebuilding the wall to protect the people from physical threats. Now the text shifts its focus to rebuilding the people of God according to the Word of God. Ezra the priest and scribe reenters the picture to facilitate the spiritual renewal of the people. Scripture text is Nehemiah 8:1-18.
